Delete your account
You can delete your The Hall account and everything stored about you on our servers, at any time, without asking anybody.
If you signed in with Google, you will be asked to pick your Google account once more. That is Google confirming it is really you before your sign-in is removed, and the deletion is not finished until you do.
Email thehalldlb@gmail.com. What happens next depends on whether your account has a Google sign-in attached, and it is worth being plain about why.
If you signed in with Google: send the request from that same Google address. Receiving it from the address the account is linked to is what proves the account is yours. We will confirm within 30 days, and normally within a few days.
If you never signed in: we probably cannot help, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise. An account with no sign-in has nothing attached to it that could prove who owns it — and your display name and player number are both printed on the public leaderboard, so anyone can read them. Accepting them as proof would mean anyone could delete anyone else's account by looking one up.
So we will not delete an account on a request we cannot check. If you can still open the game on the device that account lives on, use the steps above; that is the one route where the game already knows it is you. If you cannot, write to us anyway and we will tell you honestly what we are able to do.
Deleting from inside the game is immediate: the records are removed as you watch, and the game tells you if any part of it did not succeed rather than claiming it did. An emailed request is actioned within 30 days.
Deletion is permanent. There is no recovery and no grace period, and signing in with Google afterwards does not bring anything back — it starts a new, empty account. If you only want to stop playing, uninstalling leaves your leaderboard entries alone.
